Have a great memorial Weekend.
-Friday went out and saw Narnia 2 Prince Caspian….pretty decent movie…always tough to do a follow up to a great first movie. In fact I cannot think of many movies that the second edition was better than the first.Maybe Return of the Jedi, Bourne Supremacy, Rocky 2/3, The Lord of the Rings (Two Towers)… Any opinions on that?
-Saturday woke up late and chilled with my wifey…we went out and bought tiki torches for the patio I built this past week. Blood sweat and tears; my friends to complete that in 3 days…I will feature a post with pics of this patio…as soon as it warms up enough to enjoy it…
-Had a BBQ with my parents Saturday night, great time…best parents in the world
-Went out to eat (Well I should say chill, because we were so full) with this guy, his wife, and also some other friends of ours Saturday Night @ Baileys Downtown.
-Sunday was one of the best services, I believe we have ever had @ Northway Church Clifton Park. There was so much energy in the building and God’s presence was all over the music and the message….Lets put it this way we could have had a 3 hour service and people would still be wanting more. God is big and God is here in a huge way…Cannot wait to see how he will continue to use us.
-I am currently doing at home study for my new job, So I will be at home for the next 3 weeks studying my products I will be selling and the functions of the job. If you want to bother me during this time…feel free…
Had a great weekend…
-Of course we went to Newport R.I. for 2 days (Thursday and Friday)
-Hung out with our good friends Chad and Jen 
-Went to dinner @ Maestro’s in Saratoga Springs…that place will eat…best Salmon I have ever had…trust me
-Sunday was a typical sunday, Great church services and great music…we love it
-First Sunday in a long time where after church we could actually go home and just hang out
-We rented two movies from redbox (which is a fantastic thing by the way), 300 and Juno. I only recommend Juno, quite witty and clever at times. 300 a little disappointing even though I wish to someday be of the stature of a spartan….what beasts they are…wow
This past Thursday and Friday we had a great opportunity to hang out in Newport R.I. What a beautiful place, covered with multi million dollar mansions, cliff walk countryside and of course the ocean. My wife and I rented out a bed and breakfast in Downtown Newport and we did what love to do on VACA: Explore!
-Stopped in Providence on the way down (which is also beautiful) and lucky to find out we got a parking ticket, the metered parking system in Providence is so messed up; which is not a beautiful thing. Don’t you pay for the meter that is beside your car? Ok thought so.
-Our Bed and Breakfast was the best, we arrived and were greeted by possibly the nicest people ever (the owners). Great stay!
-Got a clam sandwich for lunch and had calamari for an appetizer, its must on vacations located near the ocean to throw down as much seafood as possible, and we did
-Explored the infamous cliff walk
-Drove down ocean drive 5 or 6 times during our stay
Threw down unlimited crab legs at Flo’s clam shack, only 12 bucks (This was one of those places all the
locals go to, no fancy shmancy stuff, straight to the business of good eating)
-Walked through the Marble house (our future house), one of the gi-normous mansions from the 1800’s
-We relaxed and just had a great time enjoying a short couple day trip. Newport was great we will be back soon.
-Weekend wrap up coming up!
It’s not often that the weekend wrap up is directly followed by a “This weekend @ Northwaychurch.tv” post, but I am headed out of town for a couple of days in Newport, RI (I will blog on this) and will not return to the blog world probably until Monday next week. I guess it is Chris Tomlin Week…
Last night we had the Comatose Tour come to Northwaychurch.tv Clifton park. We had a great night of music and hanging out. The fire alarm went off…this is a
regular occurrence for all big Northwaychurch.tv events. Got to hang out backstage and meet some of the guys from all of the bands (Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch and Decyfer Down). Had a short discussion with the lead singer, 
Caleb of Decyfer Down. He is a great guy and used to lead worship all over the D.C. Metro area. Skillet had a live cello during their set, the cello player was all amped up while backstage. 
These guys/gals from all the bands rock and they are putting out great and very positive music. What a show and what a night! The band members were all so exhausted and have to travel to Maine for a show tonight. Keep them in prayer; especially for strength and energy. Many more concerts to come @ Northwaychurch.tv Clifton Park. I will keep you posted on all events.
-Music set this week had me all amped up
-So sore from landscaping our back yard. tis the season for spring cleaning. I am sore from it, obsurd!
-Happy birthday Dave Bookhout (D book turned 22 this weekend)
-Had Vertical/nine12 this sunday night, the band rocked and loved seeing all of the students
-Taxes due today and I just finished them up yesterday…not too shabby
-God is doing big things through the people of our church. people are ready and willing to do whatever!
-This week is Skillet/Thousand Foot Krutch Concert…right on!
-Does everyone that has a blog do a weekend wrap up?…and are there any opinions on a new title for this weekly post besides “weekend wrap up”?
-Had a a great weekend full of suprises
-Went to Third day concert see below post on this.
-Almost completely lost my voice in the first service @ our CP campus
-Freaked out all service that I would pull a Peter Brady
-Went out to eat with Jon and Jen Van Cleave…great time
-Got to catch up with some of Shells friends on Saturday night
-Had United and this guy spoke
-I need some rest…
This past weekend, my wife and I had the privilege of attending the Third Day Concert In Albany. We had an emotional and amazing time. It was one of those concerts that you left saying, God was all over that place. There are not many concerts you can go to and leave saying that. Third day leads you into worship and leads you to focusing on God only throughout 
their concert. Third day was also on tour with Sanctus Real(My wifes fav), Decemberadio, and a new Band called Revive (they were great!). Sanctus real has so many songs people recognized from the radio, that I think the crowd was shocked at the fact that the band was the original artist. Decemberadio (my fav) rocked, they took you us a southern rock journey and they also ended their first song with a tag of “Carry on my Wayward son”…schweeeet!
I would have to say that a lot of people left that concert lifted up and encouraged through God’s love. I love concerts (secular and Christian) and of all genres; but when you leave a Christian concert of the magnitude we saw this past weekend, you definitley can feel God and you leave with a lifted spirit and a positive attitude always. Weekend wrap up is on the way!
